Cretacolor Carre Pastels

Cretacolor Artists Carre Pastels are manufactured from high quality natural and synthetic pigments and are similar in composition to un-fired chalk sticks.
They offer a high degree of light resistance and stability and are suitable for both amateur and professional artists. They are semi-hard and yet blend easily with minimal dusting. Their square shape allows broad strokes and fine detail to be achieved. For best results, use on a soft drawing paper of average roughness. Cretacolor Carre Pastels are blendable, extendable, soluble in water and require fixing. The convenient 7 x 7 x 75mm size is designed to fit in the Cretacolor chalk holder. 
N.B. Every possible care is taken in packing artists pastels due to their extremely fragile nature. No allowance therefore, can be made in the event of any breakage as they are equally serviceable.
